Stone 588's 21 song CD, Door in the Dragon's Throat, compiles re-recorded and remixed material selected from other successfull releases of their material, as well as six new tracks. The CD opens with the atmospheric and rhythmic Lightning Rails, which received generous airplay due to its inclusion on The Disease of Lady Madeline, collapsing into the upbeat, melodic Paradies Fields. Further diversity unfolds in the anguished beauty of Shards to Sheaths, the driving and powerful Contrition, the moody title track, Door In The Dragon's Throat, the explosively dramatic Icon Bleeds, the harder-edged Ruination, and the brooding final, Of the Ambush of God. Stone 588's earlier releases are Eyes Of A Statue, Eden Lost, and Catharsis. The band also appears on Anubis' Disease of Lady Madeline CD, compiled by X of San Francisco's House of Usher club, Permission Magazine's TV Terror CD on Reconstriction, Cleopatra's Dracula, King of Vampires and their Siouxsie tribute Reflections in the Looking Glass, Thee Vampire Guild's What Sweet Music They Make Vol. 2 from Britain, Alligence's Songs From the Vault from El Paso, Texas, Children of the Damned on Germany's Apollyon label, and Fight Amnesia magazine's From the Dragon's Mouth also from Germany. Forthcoming are tracks on ReConstriction's Mission tribute, Songs fron the Wasteland, Compiled by Tony Lestat; Subnation 2 out of San Diego, CA; the British Darkend vol. 2, as well as the German Gozhic Grimoire magazine's tribute to the Cure. Featured on Los Angeles area cable television, Stone 588 has also guested on KSPC and KUCI radio and received international airplay and print media attention.
